Recreating a 3D Invented Skyline Made Quickly
🌆 This time, I decided to create a nighttime skyline concept designed to represent a modern urban environment by the water, with a neofuturistic touch illuminated by neons and wrapped in a soft mist.
⚡ Using optimized workflows and efficient tools, I managed to create the structures quickly and effectively without sacrificing realism. Playing with projections and shadows allowed me some creative liberties.
🛠️ I started by modeling the main buildings and proceeded to texture them, using both real building projections and geometric methods. Then, I added secondary elements such as boats, docks, streetlights, and fences. Afterward, I created five basic humanoid models and, with a particle system combined with weight painting, I populated the scene with crowds by the sea. Finally, using another particle system, I created three types of clouds to form the mist.
