
Distópic Sci-Fi warehouse
Modeling of a warehouse with science fiction touches yet decrepit
🎮 For this design, the main objective was to test a bit of Blender 4.0 version. Focusing in this case on lighting with the new shading using nodes like kuwahara.
🛠️ I started by modeling the space, in this case, a warehouse, resembling a classic industrial polygon. I proceeded to create the cubes where the people would go. I made the fluorescent lights as well as the upper gallery of the warehouse along with some beams. I set up the main lighting inside the cubes and placed the people inside them to cast shadows on the cube walls. Finally, I added secondary lighting to support the lights inside the cubes.
🎨 As for texturing, I textured the warehouse and the fluorescent lights in Quixel Mixer and the cubes using Blender nodes to play well with transparency and light transmission. Additionally, I implemented the kuwahara node to achieve the final render.
