Modeling and animation of a black hole in the void with intriguing music.

🎮 In this project, I delved into creating a series of animations that explore the enigmatic allure of a black hole lurking in the depths of space. The main objective was to capture the awe-inspiring and mysterious essence of these cosmic phenomena, blending captivating visuals with an intriguing soundtrack, all meticulously crafted using Blender.

🛠️ The modeling process for this project focused on accurately representing the black hole's event horizon, ensuring its gravitational pull and ominous presence were palpably felt. Utilizing Blender's versatile tools, I essentially created a sphere and a complex node system based on distorting light around the sphere, as well as an intricate noise system upon which to animate a rotation of light.

🌌 The animation centered on showcasing the hypnotic dance of matter as it spirals inexorably towards the event horizon, forever lost to the insatiable hunger of the black hole. Subtle distortions in the fabric of space and time were meticulously animated to convey the mind-bending effects of gravitational lensing, further immersing viewers in the cosmic spectacle. Additionally, I animated the camera in some shots to add more variance and dynamism to the animation.

🎵 Music played a crucial role in amplifying the intrigue and wonder of the animations. A carefully selected soundtrack, blending haunting melodies with pulsating rhythms, accompanied each frame, heightening the sense of anticipation and mystery as viewers journeyed towards the heart of the black hole.
